Ugly Kitchen Contest Public Open House 601 W. Eleventh Street, Traverse City
June 14th & 15th you are invited to come see the winning kitchen's $35,000 make-overTraverse City, May 5, 2008 – Visit the Slack family home on June 14th from 12pm-9pm and 15th from 12pm-5pm, 2008 to see their brand new kitchen. Out of over 700 entries, the Slacks were the proud recipients of the $35,000 Kitchen Remodel. As a bonus, they also received brand new exterior paint job courtesy of Brady Painting and Northwood Paint & Supply.
The public won't believe the before and after transformation of this home – it is a "must see". Their kitchen was totally gutted and transformed. The kitchen boasts new cabinets, floors, windows, lighting, countertops, appliances, electronics and more. "This has been a great project and we are extremely proud of the results. We are excited for everyone to see the new kitchen," stated Mike Collings, MAC Custom Homes, Ugly Kitchen Contest general.
